To find way to assure APPROPRIATE balancing of the environment, social and economic dimensions of sustainable development in the future set of universally applicable SDGs. APPROPRIATE balanced SDGs, will be, somehow, to certain extend, the parallel use of adapted "green(ing) economy" and "green(ing) social practice" tools for achieving sustainable development.
23 December 2013. - EASD Belgrade Participatory Round table on balancing of the environment, social and economic dimensions of sustainable development. Two parallel processes in developing SDGs and outcomes were discussed : The Future we Want and Green Economy Path. The outreach of participatory discussion lead to position that:
1.Sustainable Use of Natural Resources
should be priority for nested with social and economic development in order to assure equal footing of environmental priorities within SDGs architecture.
The outreach will be presented on May Eco-Summit, planned on May 10 in Belgrade, Serbia, as well as at EnE14-ENV.net Regional Conference, June 5, 2014 in Belgrade, Serbia.
