Global Partnership for Violence Prevention Education (GPVPE) at www.headofthesnake.org (HOTS)
Description/achievement of initiative

The GPVPE at www.headofthesnake.org 2018 plan to bring child and youth violence prevention education to ALL the children, and especially ALL the youth, worldwide. The latest and best independent research on preventing both child and youth violence is when adults and youth partner with age-appropriate, universal, cross-cutting, violence prevention, educational programming. Half of the world’s population is now under thirty years old. We must now work to try to make sure that at least all of the 1.8 billion youth between the ages of 10 and 24 in the world are reached biennially with this programming.

Implementation methodologies

The GPVPE for Child and Youth Violence, Bullying, and Abuse, Prevention Education plan is to approach the appropriate authorities in all 193 U.N. Member Nations to encourage them to design and implement their own universal, cross-cutting, violence, bullying, and abuse, prevention education program. YouthAlert! (YA!) can provide nations a wide variety of tools, templates, and curricula, to begin this type of educational programming should they not have a program in place or wish to improve on the program they already have. This is a local, national, and international, initiative. The Global Partnership for VPE is member driven so it is aligned with other major international organizations. YouthAlert! (YA!) serves as the group coordinating and facilitating this global team effort. YouthAlert! (YA!) believes violence, bullying, and abuse (VBA), are the head of the snake. It is the single biggest problem the world has. We also believe that they are the number one root cause of other problems like substance abuse, hunger, extreme poverty, poor mental health, human trafficking, slavery, environmental issues, and more. If we significantly lower the level of violence bullying and abuse, it will also significantly lower the level of all these other harmful behaviours and problems. The Global Partnership for VPE is a comprehensive plan for a comprehensive problem.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

YouthAlert! (YA!) hopes to aid in the instruction and training of individuals for the purpose of improving their lives and help fully develop their capabilities in the area of violence, bulling prevention and healthy lifestyles for children and youth. YouthAlert! (YA!) also hopes to instruct the public at large on subjects useful to individuals and beneficial to their community. There may be times when YouthAlert! (YA!) offers particular viewpoints. But it does not merely present a view point, it also intends to offer sufficiently full and fair exposition of pertinent facts to permit an individual or the public to form and independent opinion or conclusion. YouthAlert! (YA!) intends conduct public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures and other similar programs to meet these ends. YouthAlert! (YA!) is a public charity serving the public interest not anyone's private interests. All private benefits are incidental ones. We do not allow more than an insubstantial accrual of private benefit to individual or organizations. And no part of YouthAlert! (YA!)'s net earnings inure to the benefit of any insider. YouthAlert! (YA!) does not directly or indirectly participate in, or intervene in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) a candidate for public office.
