MY World Mexico
Description/achievement of initiative

Established in early 2016, MY World Mexico is an initiative supported by the UN Sustainable Development Goals Action Campaign that is aimed on mobilizing people and organizations towards monitoring, socializing and evaluating the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs in Mexico. Additionally, we promote the MY World 2030 survey in order to give people a say about their perception regarding the 2030 Agenda implementation nationwide.

Implementation methodologies

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

With practically all of the work done being voluntary, the initiative is mainly formed by the Focal Team and the Operative Team. The first one is focused on managing and reporting the activities being performed by the Operative Team, composed by more that 20 ambassadors and 20 organizations in 28 out of Mexico's 32 states which take on SDG Action through at least two activities per month besides requesting the promotion of the MY World 2030 Survey alongside the reported activities.
