Climate Change and Sustainable Development
Description/achievement of initiative

The institution proposes to commence a certificate course that integrates studies relating to climate change, sustainable development and corporate sustainability for girl students in a non-formal way taken up voluntarily by students.

Implementation methodologies

Students will attend classes for 3 hours a week and complete about 40 hours to obtain a certificate on Climate Change, Sustainable development and Corporate Sustainability. The course will discuss the basics of climate change science and aspects of sustainable development and corporate sustainability through lectures, interactive sessions and individual projects of writing on issues of interest.

About 20 students doing their undergraduate studies would have gained basic knowledge on climate change and sustainable development helping them to pursue higher studies in Climate Change and making them better managers of businesses.
