Description/achievement of initiative
To educate citizens of India and other SAARC countries, in particular, students, academics and corporate workforce about the significance of Climate Change in the context of COPS 21 Paris 2015.
Implementation methodologies
You and Climate Change Program coordinators based in India and SAARC countries will work toward creating a significant appreciation of policy making and climate change. This will be achieved through on-premise awareness programs, short-term course studies, sponsored lectures, workshops and consultations.
Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer
You and Climate Change COP 21 Paris 2015 initiative will serve as the platform to create ICUN clubs in schools and colleges; the aim is to create clubs in order to implement UN observances especially those linked to climate change and sustainable development, in the years to come.
Coordination mechanisms/governance structure
You and Climate Change is a limited edition program related to COPS 21, Paris 2015. It will be facilitated by an intricate network academic staff, students and coordinators in India and other SAARC countries. The coordinated effort will bring about significant appreciation of COPS 21 and the Agenda of Solutions.
