VALYU - enucational game for entrepreneurship and sustainability
Description/achievement of initiative

We jointly develop and deply an educational game to support entrepreurship and sustainabiliyt. The entrepreneurial game set VALYU addresses basic economic education for learners from school to informal education. Two focus areas were unemployed people and start-ups. VALYU comprises six levels which are linked with dedicated concepts of values, and which focus on appropriate aspects of entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Implementation methodologies

The educational game was initiated and developed as a joint endeavor. The trinaing manual for South Africa was compiled at CUT. CUT is rolling out the training in South Africa.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Capacity building and Technology Transfer is done within the university partnership and students and staff exchange between HSAA and CUT.

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

The development takes place within the university partnership and students exchange between HSAA and CUT. Prof. Holzbaur is a full prof. at HSAA and honorary prof. at CUT.
