Systemic approaches to soil fertility and biodiversity are one key to the successful adaptation of agriculture.Keeping PGS certificaation since 3 years course we formed 99 PGS groups each group having 45-50 farmers. Now our motto to support Tribal farmers of Mandla , Dindori Seoni, Chindwara and in MP .Historically families of Gondwana region have labored in subsistence farming to produce traditional crops of rice, maize, minor millets and pulses. Environmentally responsible tribes of region who revere nature as goddess have stayed away from chemical fertilizers and poisonous pesticides so far. Previously individual farmers would sell their produce to local traders at dismal prices for want of immediate cash. But with spread of awareness they decided to change it. Last year these farmers came together to form Producer Company with hope of fetching just prices for their environmentally responsible farming that demands hard manual labour. Mandla is a beautiful place in east of Madhya Pradesh bordering Chhattisgarh. Most of the land area is covered with forest and pristine rivulets. Tribal Orgnaic is a farmers producer company [FPC] registered under companies act with more than 15000 farmers as its shareholders. It is a collective effort by farmers of Gondwana to change their destiny

Reducing the cost of cultivation and sustaining the agriculture as well as soil conditioning . On average, due to crop rotation and organic production practices, rates of biodiversity and crop diversity are higher on organic farms than conventional farms. Set-aside areas and landscape elements such as hedges further increase biodiversity. This diversity in turn improves ecological and economic stability; it reduces pest outbreaks and plant and animal diseases and improves the utilization of nutrients and water. Organic agriculture uses fewer external inputs, establishes closed nutrient cycles and fosters the optimal use of natural resources, ecosystem services and biological functions, such as predator prey dynamics. In this way, organic farming responds perfectly to the need for risk-reducing strategies, as it lowers input costs, fosters diversity and invests in healthy organisms. In the long run, this approach increases competitiveness, lowers the risks of incurring debt, and might even protect the livelihoods of small-scale and poorer farmers. An additional financial benefit stems from the price premium for organic products if they are marketed within a certification system. Consequences of Climate Variations in Agriculture .... Organic Farming India country is facing unpredictable weather for last few years.
