The Non-Governmental Comunidade Necessária Entretenimento is located in Rio de Janeiro, with the practice of executing and executing social, environmental, sporting, educational, technological, artistic-cultural and audiovisual projects. He works directly in the area of Audiovisual, Theater, Television, Literature and Arts in general, strengthening as Public Policies that give support to young people and adults in the poor communities of Rio de Janeiro.
Our Organization always seeks to take all Audiovisual projects since 2003 to the schools of the community of Quitungo, Complexo do Alemão, where I take the whole apparatus to schools and create a study environment. In 16 (sixteen) years of operation, we serve more than 2000 (two thousand) young people and we form more than 1500 (one thousand and five hundred) young people for the job market. Several success stories already appear on social networks and behind the scenes around the world.
The initiative is solitary, counting only with some selfless professors like Vanessa Severo, Leonardo Barbosa and Eduarda Laim. The funds come from donations from its director, Edmar Costa Barros. We are seeking various financial support, but we do not expect these. To that end, our biggest initiative, the "Audiovisual Community", is in the 10th edition and we have trained more than 2000 young people from poor communities in Rio de Janeiro and are already working to put their knowledge to the test.
The project is in full capacity, has the permanent character and has the format of roadshow. The beginning will be May 11, at the Cultural Center of Justice, and has the deadline to finish the 2019 edition on September 27, 2019. It will be on-site and with the possibility of being transmitted by YouTube from our NGO. All control is on behalf of Professor Edmar who planned, is executing and will do the final audit of the project.
Quantitatively, we hope to bring this year's knowledge to approximately 2000 students in attendance and more than 10 thousand on line. Our biggest challenge is to fight the disinterestedness of these young people in creating innovative legal perspectives before the enticement that drug trafficking and crime. And with that, take the young man out of the way of imprisonment. According to data from the Public Defender's Office in Rio de Janeiro, most of these youths are not investigated or have a criminal record. More than half of these young people (53%) are convicted based on the testimony of the arresting police officers and not on facts. Facts are alarming since 91.06% of young prisoners are male, and 59.39% were alone at the time of arrest. In addition, 77.36% had no criminal record, and 73.85% were primary defendants.
These projects never need the financial resources to exist, even looking for them to expand our service. This never stopped seraged and always busted new applications of computed materials of work based on lighting total picture in situ, which is a unique initiative and industrialization without a development and ecologically feasible.
Young people have come into contact with other realities that struggle daily to protect the environment and use the audiovisual as a fantastic machine to make other young people. They have learned that workshops can save their videos and publish on any social network in a rational way. The practice was based on several experiences, mainly with the indication of the Fluminense Federal University, the formation of a series of young people and the Guarani-Kaiowá south of Rio de Janeiro youth community.
Employees during these fifteen years in different areas of production of people coming from performance classes with technical and operational support. The Olhar Delas Project (Independent) and the work Mitã-I Porã (IEAK / UFF Angra dos Reis) were our best. For those who do not think, stopping is not a barrier. It is borderline to be exceeded. For so much that works in diverse works. One of the coolest was the thought in Health and Welfare, with the support of auditory canal cleansing projects with an innovative Indian technique and home and home-based incentive works along with AfroReggae.
