Description/achievement of initiative

Our partnership as an organization is currently using the SDG's in our community and around the world the NERDS RULE INC. Ambassador T.R.I.B.E Project. Our commitment is to continue educating schools, colleges, companies, teens, youth and young adults with the program. Our goal by 2030 is to have over a million Ambassadors developing community action projects using the SDG's we currently use.

Implementation methodologies

Each Ambassador has a mentor and community leader assisting with the community action project. Each mentor and community leader is trained on the importance of the SDG goal and is given a timeline to complete a community action project plan. Worksheets are developed for every person who participants in the NERDS RULE INC. T.R.I.B.E Ambassador Project. Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

The program is open to the public ages 10 to 35 years of age. Each person fills out an application of community action projects commitment. Individuals agree to use SDG's for community service to work effectively for youth, teens and young adults using important elements. Those elements include: Meeting community needs. The community service performed by youth must be seen as relevant and timely for them. They will need to see or learn about the real needs in their community and what they can do to help with those needs. To help with this element we have monthly surveys to community members, leaders, agencies or organizations to learn about the community needs. This helps our team and community action projects build on existing community assets. Careful planning and preparation of community action projects as a NERDS RULE INC. T.R.I.B.E Ambassadors are 8 months of training with the NERDS RULE INC Ambassador curriculum . All participants are a part of the planning of the community action project and each person are prepared for their part in the project before we launch the project in the community or international. The Ambassadors help prioritize activities, events, workshops, conferences, they also assist with involving and informing community leaders, businesses, parents and other adults, to keep safety and risk management procedures in mind.
