Implementation methodologies

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

To achieve the agenda we have to work with different agencies and Non-profit Organization. 1) Reduce and eliminate all kinds of hunger and poverty in Lenggong. We partnered with local Non-profit Organization, Rumah Waqaf Che Teh Fatimah, to organize many programmes to tackle many issues at once. First programme under SDGs agenda is Food Bank. The programme will provide a platform for those who want to contribute their food supply to needy people. They can only donate packed food which can last longer. Wet food is not encouraged. Those who in need can come and collect what food they need at no cost. Food is collected by individuals who wish to make donation or by corporate organization. 2) Give equal access to all resident, youth and adult, all gender, to good quality of education, and 3) Enhance skill among youth to prepare them for their education and work life. We provide affordable tuition classes for all youth and gender. We provide affordable tuition class like English proficiency, Chinese and Tamil language and Art & Design Class. Those who participate to our class just have to pay USD 4 to USD5 per month. The class is held at our SDGs centre where we converted an old house donated (Waqf house) by local people to be used for community engagement programme. 4) Increase awareness of healthy living We work with Department of Health to do health screening test for all residents. They will be given free health consultation by medical personnel once they are screened with a certain health condition. We also give a talk on healthy food preparation to all woman worker who is busy to balance their role at work and home.
