Student Welfare Digital Participation (SWDP)
Description/achievement of initiative

Julisha Wazazi is a social enterprise tasked with the development and administration of community based initiatives, whose core value drivers, seek to run campaigns on students’ welfare participation, establish digital participation programs and networks, advocate inclusive and real-time engagement between school administrations with the parents about their children welfare, with a goal to improve and sustain the quality of education.

Implementation methodologies

-The mission of this initiative seeks to mobilize public and private schools in the country to commit and integrate in the student welfare digital participation programs and build digital capacity and skills to drive active participation of schools and parents. -The initiative also seeks to create awareness on the need for parents to actively participate in the welfare of their children in school through leveraging on multi-channel campaigns.

1. The initiative is administered by Julisha Wazazi, which is an incorporated social enterprise 2. To build and develop community support digital programs for the delivery and participation of the Julisha Wazazi initiative network, the initiative is compliant with the GDPR, legal regulations and UN global compact principles 3. Campaign to create awareness on the importance of the participation of parents in the children welfare and the direct relationship with the students' performance, is research oriented through approved data collection techniques and administered through multi-channels in consent of the target audience 4. The initiative has integrated and publicly announced commitment to the SDG Compass guidelines, at the heart of the initiative
