Carbon Offset Project - Africa (COPA)
Description

The carbon offset project involves the following:
1. Public awareness to markets, schools, street and mass media;
2. Afforestation programme;
3. Training unemployed youth and women in the building solar electricity and solar-powered systems;
4. Promoting recycling and sustainable waste management system; and
5. Partnering with necessary organisations towards achieving the project goals

Expected impact

The project goal is to help in mitigating environmental change with aim to lower the costs and time of reducing greenhouse gas emissions that are associated with food insecurity, flood, poverty and other consequences of environmental change in Nigeria and Africa.
