The EWC Innovation for Sustainable Development Fellows (#EWCinnovationfellows) is a ten (10) year opportunity to support members of the EWC striving to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Non-resident Fellows co-design and co-deliver innovation initiatives for the EWC within their organization or company. Fellows are young EWC Alumni (under age 40) supported in ten (10) modules all delivered virtually over the course of ten (10) months within health, environment, community resilience, and the arts sectors. In 2019, over 10,000 people enrolled in innovation programs of the fellows. Learn more and view a map of fellows and initiatives here (https://www.eastwestcenter.org/professional-development/experiential-professional-development) and a collection of videos about each fellow here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLzcOj99I4Rqdmsy_e3wIGQ
The #EWCinnovationfellows Theory of Change is that the EWC can advance SDG implementation in the Asia Pacific IF the EWC offers ten (10) months of customized support and financial incentives to members of the EWC community as nonresident Innovation Fellows to implement innovation strategies within their health, education, resilience, arts, or environment organization or company THEN Fellows will improve their capacity to design, deliver, and evaluate innovation strategies that meet the UN SDG targets strategies THEN citizens of fellow’s targeted program area will acquire knowledge and services in education, environment and health sector and improve their well-being and livelihoods.
