Robust Policy and Regulatory Design Support
Description/achievement of initiative

The Joint Institute for Strategic Energy Analysis (JISEA) commits to working with partners, public and private, to help inform robust policy and regulatory design towards the se4all goals.

Implementation methodologies

The JISEA will fulfill this through its world class research network and focus on analytical support for capacity building. The Joint Institute for Strategic Energy Analysis is operated by the Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the University of Colorado-Boulder, the Colorado School of Mines, the Colorado State University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Stanford University.

The support will be focused on helping ensure the maximum benefits of the many diverse and dispersed technical assistance facilities and larger lending windows that will open as a result of the SGs initiative. JISEA seeks to guide the transformation of the global energy economy through comprehensive, transdisciplinary research focused on the nexus of energy, finance, and society and welcomes the opportunity to work with SE4All partners.
