Borealis is committed to contribute to the global water and sanitation challenge by continuation and enhancement of its CSR programme Water for the World.

Contiuous implementation of initiatives at global and regional level focusing on 3 areas: 1) Providing improved infrastructure to urban and rural poor settlements in cooperation with local and international NGOs and value chain partners. 2) Preserving water resources and improving water management practices through active engagement in research and water stewardship projects 3) Advancing best practices and raising awareness through awareness campaigns towards employees and local communities as well as through the co-foundation of the Stockholm Water Price.
