INP-ENSIACET decided to engage environmental initiatives such as ISO 14001. This approach aims to develop a Sustainable Development Policy and to gradually establish good practices to reduce the impact on the environment, particularly around greenhouse gas emissions. Both students and academics are involved in this project. Indeed, the culture of safety and respect for the environment are integral parts of the training delivered to the engineering students.

INP-ENSIACET has engaged in an ISO 14001 process. Main project actions are:- Inventory of energy consumption (electricity, heating, gas, etc.)- Installation of water and electric meters in different laboratories and on specific experiments- Improvements on the boiler to regulate the heating of the buildings- Management of chemicals, waste sorting

The directory staff manages the project, in collaboration with the quality engineer and the person in charge of environmental and sustainable development issues.
