Description/achievement of initiative
A lot of things have spiraled out of control in over-developed Europe. On the occasion of the European Year of Development (EYD 2015), the Climate Alliance is calling upon people to join the dialogue, get involved and reflect on global sustainability targets.
Implementation methodologies
All the screen and monitors, the running motors, the assembly lines churning out brand new, cheap stuff – we need to dial back. Many of the things that are supposed to improve our lives only seem to make them more complex. There are countries that do without this extra stuff – we often call them underdeveloped, but wouldn’t that make us overdeveloped? The truth is, all any of us really wants is a good life. may mean rethinking our habits. Jumping on our bikes, for example, rather than sitting in a traffic jam.The facts show that something has to change and we can change something. It can be so simple to do so – a good life is simple! Join the campaign, speak to others about it and help shape a climate-friendly life together. The digital materials are free of charge on the website, interested local authorities and organisations can print their own materials with their logo and use it on the local level.
