Schools have planted 20 million trees. ENO Green Cities support schools in their tree planting efforts, currently in over 20 countries. Challenges faced in implementation
Voluntary network with very limited financial resources, difficulties with communication (language), as NGO initiative not so appreciated.
Next steps
We will go on planting trees and ask more countries to support our campaign. Trees are planted throughout the yeat but also special focus for UN days like ecological biodiversity 22 May and international day for peace 21 Sep. Trees are planted for the environment and peace. Networking and partnerships are very much welcome.
