Anti-Bullying Advocacy
Description/achievement of initiative

The Anti-Bullying Campaign which will be launched with a 3day events in Lagos ,Nigeria (23-25March, 2017) aims at raising awareness on the scourge of Bullying in schools and Nigerian communities with a view of nipping it in the Bud through school and communities campaigns in order to curb prevailing vices as Drug Abuse, Domestic Violence, Cultism, Insurgency and even Terrorism etc

Implementation methodologies

The campaign is expected to be formally launched in March, 2017 with the theme of "Nip it in the Bud" after when the campaign is expected to go nationwide in various Nigerian languages through the use of these strategies :We have 36 States in Nigeria with 6geographical zones. A state per zone will be covered per month for workshops and distribution of the Anti-Bullying booklets leaving subsequent month for monitoring and evaluation. Hence 6 states per year.Anti bullying Workshops that will define bullying, bully types, its effects on bullies and the bullied, advise to parents and school on curbing same will hold in schools, community groups, religious settingWe already have Anti-Bullying booklets that we encouraged schools where we had tested the initiative to purchase.We have positive outcomes from our trial alreadyWe are expecting to start a talk show on same that will feature in the national television station (sponsorship permiting) We are looking forward to having a sponsored branded car or cars to further help the publicity of the campaign and enable us reach out to remote areas where violence is prevalence.We already have a WhatsApp group for same where we share ideas. Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Funding permitting, we hope to partner with Nigeria's National Orientation Agency where we have already submitted a proposal for national coverage, counselling and vocations or creative writing.We also look forward to attending global seminars and conferences on same.We hope to upgrade our website to a premium site that will be more interactive for LIVE counselling etcWe already follow some on our twitter handle @bullynotpals

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

The Anti Bullying Advocacy initiative is the Corporate Social Responsibility of Active projectile Ltd. Hence, guided by the Memorandum of the company.The initiative enjoys the Partnership of Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team in a Technical capacity.
