Global Green Commitment
Description/achievement of initiative

KPMG is committed to managing and reducing our environmental impacts, seeking to reduce our net greenhouse gas emissions per FTE by 15 percent in 2015, as compared to 2010.

Implementation methodologies

KPMG is committed to having a wider positive impact on the environment and addressing local environmental challenges. Launched in 2008, the KPMG Global Green Initiative reduced the environmental impacts of KPMG business activities by 29 percent over 4 years beating our combined 25 percent target. KPMG member firms are investing in renewable energy, implementing sustainable IT initiatives, educating and supporting our people in making sustainable decisions, and working on environmental protection projects. Beyond our own initiatives, KPMG's Climate Change and Sustainability Services are advising member firms' clients on managing and reducing their environmental impacts.
