Borealis is committed to contribute to the global water and sanitation challenge by continuation and enhancement of its CSR programme Water for the World.

Implementation methodologies

Water for the World is programme to foster public-private partnerships, contributing with our expertise and advanced solutions to address the global water and sanitation challenge.

Borealis and Borouge product experts facilitating product/material expertise in the development of innovative water&sanitation solutions. Financial expertise provided to NGOs. Engagement of our value chain partners.

Contiuous implementation of initiatives at global and regional level focusing on 3 areas: 1) Providing improved infrastructure to urban and rural poor settlements in cooperation with local and international NGOs and value chain partners. 2) Preserving water resources and improving water management practices through active engagement in research and water stewardship projects 3) Advancing best practices and raising awareness through awareness campaigns towards employees and local communities as well as through the co-foundation of the Stockholm Water Price.
