Description/achievement of initiative

-Forest related policies and strategies are adapted to allow an efficient answer to climate change in the MENA region.

-Better intersectoral cooperation enables the committed countries to better use their forests as a solution to mitigate climate
change and also to adapt territories and societies to its effects.

-Forests of the MENA region play a bigger role in the green economy by creating sustainable jobs and added value.
