CLP's Climate Vision 2050
Description/achievement of initiative

In 2007, we published our Climate Vision 2050, which laid out our carbon dioxide emissions intensity reduction targets to the year 2050. In 2010, we reviewed our 2020 targets to reflect more ambition.

Implementation methodologies

This commitment was developed upon the request of senior management and made reference to IEA Energy Outlook scenarios and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development's Energy & Climate publications that laid out possible low carbon solutions and pathways out to 2050.
