A 360-degree approach to tackling climate change
Description/achievement of initiative

SCA takes a 360-degree approach to managing its climate change impacts and is setting targets to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, triple the use of forest-based biofuels and increase investments.

Implementation methodologies

Investments in renewable energy directed by a newly formed business unit, SCA Energy, Groupwide energy efficiency program which has so far included 1,700 small-scale projects since 2003, Life cycle assessments, Reducing tranport emissions, Replacing oil by biofuels.
