Our department has responsibility to protect marine and terrestrial environment of Qeshm Island and adjacent Islands . Qeshm Islands including 4 cities, 70 villages and approximately 150000 population is about 2000 square kilometers. The most important ecosystems those marine ecosystem such as coral reefs, mangrove forest, and variety of sea shores including rocky shores, sandy beaches and mud flats exist in this Islands.
