Productive and food secure territories for a peaceful and resilient Cauca
Description/achievement of initiative

The armed conflict in Colombia has damaged production, institutions, food security and social trust. Throughout sustainable agricultural production of indigenous crops and their international commercialization, the SDG-F has been committed to create employment, ways of life, better nutrition and, most importantly, peace in Cauca, one of the most affected areas by the long lasting conflict.

Implementation methodologies

The targeted groups include approximately 1000 families and 20 rural farmer organizations. The total programme budget amounts to $ 3.2 million and 46% is funded by the SDG-F.
