Safeguarding the Nigerian Child
Description/achievement of initiative

Safeguarding the Nigerian Child aims to deliver social interventions and preventative outcomes to ensure all children are supported to develop in an environment where they feel secure, safe, and are able to meet all their aspirations and develop their potentials for better outcomes for children in 5 key areas: Child Protection, Child Safety, Child Health, Child Education, Child Welfare

Implementation methodologies

Safeguarding the Nigerian Child works to raise standards, protect children, and improve lives for better outcomes. We will do this via: -Advocacy and sensitization programmes on safeguarding and child protection -Awareness campaigns with emphasis on rights of the Nigerian child -Partnerships and collaborations with government MDAs private organisations, schools and child care centres

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

This initiative will be governed in synergy with government ministries departmental agencies (MDAs) religious bodies, community based groups, and stakeholders and NGOs involved in child protection, child safety, child health, child education, and child welfare.
