Practical Application of the Earth Charter

In April 2001, the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia voted unanimously to adopt the Earth Charter in the Republic. Since the adoption of the Decree of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on 27 April 2001 ยน 722 "About the Earth Charter" its principles were observed in preparation of programes of development, focusing on high standards of life quality and healthy environment.
