Description/achievement of initiative
A non-profit venture with a vision of Building the Foundation for Sustainable Development. SDG-Foundation is working for Sustainable development and will facilitate to enhance the global partnership and provide a platform for the scientific expertise and technological advancement. SDG-Foundation is an initiative to develop a dialogue and to facilitate partnerships amongst the Government, Communities and Businesses with a common goal of sustainable development.
Implementation methodologies
SDG-Foundation will be guided by wisdom, experience, generosity, compassion, skills and technology of a host of globally renowned experts and agencies as members, who will guide the foundations work in sensitizing, educating and capacitating Regulators, Communities, NGOs and Corporate to support Government in the area of Sustainable Development.
Recognizing SDG framework both as the opportunity and the risk in the way we look at the development, a partnership by Businesses, Authorities and Civil Societies, need to be forged. It is equally critical to launch programs that prepare our next generation to protect and conserve natural resources.
For a single entity, the task of working on all 17 Goals and 169 targets under SDG is insurmountable keeping this in mind SDG foundation has decided to focus on 4 goals to ensure better understanding and implementation.

SDG-Foundation aims to be a Strategic Think Tank involving Regulators, Civil society and corporate for creating a framework for integrating social and business values. Where Responding instead of Reacting to the Climate Change will be primary for sustainable development.
SDG-Foundation aims to enhance the global partnership for sustainable development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the SDGs in developing countries
