Build well-furnished public libraries in African countries
Description/achievement of initiative

The initiative we are taking through our Non-profit organisation is the project of building public libraries in African countries. The mission is to give free and easy access to education for people. Our vision is that people should be able to access the knowledge everywhere. We have the goal to facilitate the access to book and other educational material to people in the need in Africa.

Implementation methodologies

Since February 2017 we launched our organization, we have started collecting books in the United states from libraries, business, organisations and individuals willing to help and accompany us in this project. We are working on getting donations and finding grants available for Education.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

The arrangements we re making are in regards to means and ways to ship collected books to Africa as soon as pallets are ready. We have contacted some other organizations involve in shipping cargo to Africa

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

The main mechanism we put in place is a Website from which everyone can have more details and information about the project of building public libraries in African countries. This website is absolutely free of access. Besides, we are registering and participating in different conferences on Education. This allow us to construct a network of potential donors and facilitators for the project we have. We are very active on Social Media to promote the mission we carry with our Nonprofit Organization EFIL World Foundation (LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, Instagram...) We have opened our Non-profit Africa headquarter office in CAMEROON in 2017.
