Research activity for a sustainable consumption model, research of mathematical models for the study of the use of renewable resources.
Description/achievement of initiative

We are studying theoretical models for renewable resources and theoretical models for sustainable development. We analyze models to avoid the excessive exploitation of the resource that can lead to inefficient situations, both biological and economic. We are working on a consumption model that can find a compromise between sustainability and profit needs. The consumption model we are working on has as its objective the incentive for practices that have opted to maximize profitability in a sustainable economy, thus encouraging the abandonment of practices of exploitation of exhaustible resources and excessive exploitation of populations.

Implementation methodologies

We are continually studying mathematical models for sustainable consumption. We are active in the dissemination of messages consistent with our research. We divulge in schools, universities and conferences.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

We are available to show our results and to be involved in dissemination and consultancy activities.

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

Independent research group in collaboration with DISUP APS (Association based in Trento). We are a group of researchers, physicists and economists. In collaboration with the LUISS Guido Carli University.

Progress reports
Goal 8
8.2 - Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value added and labour-intensive sectors
Goal 12
12.2 - By 2030, achieve the sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources
Goal 14
14.2 - By 2020, sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, including by strengthening their resilience, and take action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans
14.7 - By 2030, increase the economic benefits to Small Island developing States and least developed countries from the sustainable use of marine resources, including through sustainable management of fisheries, aquaculture and tourism
14.a - Increase scientific knowledge, develop research capacity and transfer marine technology, taking into account the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Criteria and Guidelines on the Transfer of Marine Technology, in order to improve ocean health and to enhance the contribution of marine biodiversity to the development of developing countries, in particular small island developing States and least developed countries
Goal 15
15.4 - By 2030, ensure the conservation of mountain ecosystems, including their biodiversity, in order to enhance their capacity to provide benefits that are essential for sustainable development
