3Rs Education
Description/achievement of initiative

We aim to educate lower income communities as well as the general public of the importance of the 3Rs, climate change, environmental protection and waste management. Tackling as many areas of our social platform as possible, we use an efficient and effective method to promote key issues that the Planet faces today with a special focus on youth.

Implementation methodologies

We have a structured method to achieve our goals: Step 1: conduct R&D and surveys to determine the actual needs of the area or community Step 2: assign the corresponding program under goGreenToy / Green It Forward Step 3: allocate resources to implement program under the global project ----- In order to do this, we seek to: 1. Forge relationships with the community as well as the institutions in charge of the area 2. Provide a link between these stakeholders to create proper impact and add continuity 3. Work on fundraisers and support in order to do the work 4. Provide skills to youth and all interested within our programs to impact poverty, the economy, inequality, etc. as well as environmental education and emotional health 5. Try to collaborate and unify all NGOs in the country in order to best allocate resources and to support each other to create real change **Our members had been working informally since 1998-1999

Board of Directors President, Vice president, Secretary, Treasurer, Vocal Volunteers Partners: public and private sector ------- We provide a year report to the ministry of Economy and corresponding ministries. We are registered before the: --Ministry of Environmental Affairs --Ministry of Culture --Ministry of Education --Ministry of Tourism --Ministry of Economy and Planning --Ministry of Foreign Affairs *Note some are still working on their internal structures pertaining the NGO office within the institution and other processes. The main ministry is Environmental Affairs and Economy where we have our definitive registrations

Goal 12
12.2 - By 2030, achieve the sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources
12.5 - By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse
12.6 - Encourage companies, especially large and transnational companies, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle
12.7 - Promote public procurement practices that are sustainable, in accordance with national policies and priorities

13.2 - Integrate climate change measures into national policies, strategies and planning
13.3 - Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning
13.a - Implement the commitment undertaken by developed-country parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to a goal of mobilizing jointly $100 billion annually by 2020 from all sources to address the needs of developing countries in the context of meaningful mitigation actions and transparency on implementation and fully operationalize the Green Climate Fund through its capitalization as soon as possible
13.b - Promote mechanisms for raising capacity for effective climate change-related planning and management in least developed countries and small island developing States, including focusing on women, youth and local and marginalized communities

* Acknowledging that the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is the primary international,
intergovernmental forum for negotiating the global response to climate change.
