Changemaker Lab
Description/achievement of initiative

Project dedicated to develop innovative solutions promoting: leadership and participation in the decision-making process of Mozambican feminine talent; usage of collaboration vs competition in order to find innovative responses to existing, local, global and systemic challenges, including with private sector; the development of changemaking and entrepreneur skills in the new generation of Mozambican leaders; the community resilience facing pandemics and climate changes; the prevention and mitigation of risks and negative externalities caused by the pandemic through activation of solutions by impact teams in the communities.Challenges: distance literacy program for girls; solar powered solutions for entrepreneuship;

Implementation methodologies

The project will use the Lab methodology in 4 steps:\\r\\n1. Finding talent\\r\\n2. Activating talent\\r\\n3 - Co-creating:\\r\\n a new collaborative and inspiring model of: mapping, ideation, design and prototyping of innovative solutions for complex challenges, through a programme unlocking the talent of young leaders and aligning the private sector in the response to specific social problems.\\r\\n4 - coding to share and scale\\r\\n- Create, adapt and encode contents that stimulate and develop leadership, changemaking and entrepreneur skills.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Step 4 of coding is key to prepare the program to be shared and scaled.\\r\\nGirl MOVE Academy already has a strong network of partners interested in replicating our methodologies, and by the projects' end, we've have a team of fcailitator + the tools and resources to ensure the readiness of a capacity building program.\\r\\nIn terms of knowledge tranfer, the challenges were designeg with the partner: ENDEV, WFP, Adicional and Girl MOVE, all very much interested in scaling the prototypes that prove successfull, within their own programmes

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

Girl MOVE Academy is coordinating the implementation of the program, and the collaboration of all those involved. It is also ensuring staffing and financial management\\r\\nGMA is ensuring the quality of the Lab Methodology, while SPOTGAMES will ensure the digitalization of some of the prototypes emerging ENDEV, Adicional, WFP and GMA will ensuring the monitoring of prototype implementation in partnership with prototype teams.\\r\\n\\r\\nGMA has annual audits of its accounts and has strong transparency, anti-fraud, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-terrorism, anti-descrimination, good conduct, and child protection policies in place.
