Innovation and Justice for all - Pakistan
Description/achievement of initiative

The aim of the project is primarily to use technology to advance awareness regarding the use of alternative dispute resolutions to prevent costly litigation and reduce the number of pending cases in the courts. Moreover, the objective of the project is to disseminate information regarding the benefits of using alternative dispute resolution. Lastly, the initiative will conduct a working paper suggesting reforms to promote alternative dispute resolution effectively in Pakistan by engaging with stakeholders.

Implementation methodologies

The organization Mazeltov - Innovation & Justice will collaborate with the partners who will work simultaneously towards the aim of the project and implement the initiative by using their own platforms. Resources will be invested in projects run by non-profit organizations such as “Alif se Insaniyat”.Educational Institutions and professionals would be provided with a platform by the use of technology to discuss matters pertaining to finding cost-friendly and effective means to resolve various matters. The conducted research would be used to engage stakeholders that would push for suggested reforms striking policy change and creation of laws advancing the rule of law. Moreover, media partners would promote the research to invite attention from parliamentarians.

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

Feedback of the partners and researchers of this project will govern the initiative. Quarterly discussions would take place by the partners to advances changes and discuss the progress of the project.
