TASMU Digital Valley
Description

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) established Tasmu Digital Valley as an innovation cluster where different sectors can come together to help achieve the vision of Smart Qatar. TASMU Digital Valley connects entrepreneurs, startups, investors, academics, researchers, students, multinational corporations and institutions to each other to achieve one goal, which is to create innovative digital solutions. TDV has successfully enrolled 89 companies as TDV members, consisting of local and international startups, SMEs and MNCs, supported 36 foreign and local tech companies in partnership with relevant partners by facilitating specific services to further support them with their needs, conducted 8 webinars reaching out to more than 750 attendees across 7 countries and activated partnership with 4 key local entities: QFZA, QFC, DIC and iLab for the delivery of TDV services to TDV members. TDV has developed the Digital Investment Catalogue to provide a sustainable tech supply chain for the various opportunities in Qatar's tech market. The catalogue also serves the purpose of attracting foreign tech companies to attract with the ultimate aim of supporting tech companies.

Expected impact

The TASMU Digital Valley aims to strengthen the country's digital sector, making it a hub for tech companies to thrive and grow as well as attracting foreign tech investment. TASMU Digital Valley collaborates with a number of partners to provide a number of services in order to facilitate the establishment of digital companies and ensure their continuity to support innovation in the digital field.
