Cyber Safety Program
Description

The Cyber Safety Program is an ongoing initiative by the Digital Society Department at the Ministry. Through its core platform safespace.qa, the program increases awareness on various Cyber Safety topics through articles, posts, marketing campaigns, videos, cartoons, webinars, etc. The Program also organizes workshops with schools and other organizations to teach about Cyber Safety and train digital champions that can spread the knowledge. The program also develops digital training modules on Cyber Safety.

Expected impact

The program reaches hundreds of thousands of people in Qatar every year. This in turn raises the public's awareness and knowledge on Cyber Safety topics, and ensures overall better wellbeing through reduced cyberbullying, reduced spread of fake news, higher cybersecurity protection, reduced online addiction, etc.
