The Most Important Campaign
Description/achievement of initiative

In order to ensure a successful, transformative, and universal outcome for the United Nations’ Post-2015 Agenda, global communications are necessary to inspire and mobilize worldwide action. Working with a wide range of media companies that made commitments to PVBLIC’s vision, to contributing to the implementation of the SDGs through the Most Important Campaign, Media for Social Impact, and a variety of other initiatives. PVBLIC is now actively working with its partners to develop a campaign on how to reach, engage, and compel the globe to take action over the next 15 years.

Implementation methodologies

PVBLIC hosted the Media for Social Impact Summit on May 1, 2015, bringing together over 350 leading media executives and senior UN representatives for a day of hands-on strategizing and creative development regarding how to implement this global campaign. During the summit, over 250 attendees from a wide range of media companies made commitments to PVBLIC’s vision, contributing to the implementation of the SDGs through the Most Important Campaign. The campaign will be launching in January 2016 and continue throughout the duration of the Sustainable Development Goals (2030).

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

This is an open source B2B media campaign, toolkits and other resources will be made available after the launch of the campaign

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

PVBLIC Foundation will coordinate, and act as a bridge between its media partners and the United Nations, to facilitate the execution of the Most Important Campaign.
