The sixth session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD-6) met at UN Headquarters in New York on 22 December 1997 and from 20 April to 1 May 1998. This was the first session of the Commission following the adoption by the General Assembly at its nineteenth special session of the Programme for the Further Implementation of Agenda 21.
