The Intergovernmental Preparatory Meeting for the thirteenth session of the Commission on Sustainable Development was held in New York from 28 February to 4 March 2005.

Parallel interactive discussions on the themes of water, sanitation and human settlements were held from 1 to 3 March 2005.
