SIDS Plenary IPM, 26 February 2007

Overview

The first day of the Intergovernmental Preparatory Meeting (IPM) for the 15th session of the Commission on Sustainable Development featured a SIDS Plenary.

Three panelists led interactive discussions to outline innovative policy options to support the sustainable development of SIDS.

Viable solutions for reducing SIDS’ vulnerability to climate change and air pollution as well as for strengthening their industrial development and access to energy for sustainable development were highlighted.
