The Addis Ababa Action Agenda and the 2030 Agenda firmly established the importance of science, technology and innovation for the achievement of the SDG. In this online discussion, we invite you to use real world examples to showcase their importance. How does science push the boundaries of human knowledge and how should it guide our strategies for implementing the SDGs? How do technologies, even simple ones, improve the living conditions of people in extreme poverty, or those in marginalized groups? How does innovation help us solve problems and tackle challenges? The focus can be on policies that are implemented to foster the development of science, technology and innovation, and policies and solutions that enable access by all to appropriate technology solutions in different SDG areas.
