A key challenge over the next 15 years will be to take full advantage of the benefits that science, technology and innovation can bring to all the SDGs, in particular to help achieve the new agenda’s objective to leave no one behind. Where do you see a potential for STI to make significant impacts on achieving the SDGs? What “road blocks” – related to policies, organizational structures, decision-making processes, or capacities – including at the individual level - currently prevent STI from reaching its full sustainable development potential? What will it take to entice and enable STI providers to address the challenges of the most vulnerable and marginalised? Your contribution in this discussion will inform future efforts to enhance the contribution of STI to the implementation of SDGs.
