Rio+20, the largest conference ever convened by the United Nations, ushers in a new era for implementing sustainable development - development that fully integrates the need to promote prosperity, well-being and protection of the environment. The Conference was a rare opportunity for the world to focus on sustainability issues - to examine ideas and forge solutions.

Over 700 Voluntary Commitments were registered and announced by governments, businesses and other civil society partners at Rio+20. These Commitments were collected by various initiatives through the preparatory process of Rio+20 and at the Conference it self. [Read more].
